In July of 2002,entrusted by CNPC, our institute assumed the disposal project of wastewater, which is with high content of sulfur and organic pollutant. The COD value in wastewater of large-sized oil depot could reach above 10000, which is difficult to dispose (the COD value limited by the state wastewater exhausting standard is no more than 60). From 2000 to 2001, CNPC has asked the professors of one Japanese environment protection corporation dispose the wastewater. But after two years of research, the COD value is still around 600. Our institute broke the traditional wastewater disposal methods and established our own theory — super oxidization method. It could oxidize within an hour and flocculate, sediment within 21 hours. The COD value is rapidly reduced to lower than 55. This technical level is higher than the Japanese environment protection corporation.
